Happy Birthday Becca Boo!
It's hard to believe that Becca turned 17 this year. She is already scheduling her classes for her SENIOR YEAR. (Yes I am feeling old) She is taking Human Anatomy and Nursing 1 & 2. After finishing the Nursing course's she can test for her Nursing Assistant license and then take a 9 month course for her LPN (I think this is correct). Then she is planning to go off to Michigan for college. It doesn't seem that long ago that she was carrying around her little troll doll or asking to watch Beauty and the Beast for the 100th time. Just last night she reminded me that she is still so young. While online she found Poi Balls that light on fire and just had to have them. She was sure that she could do it and not light herself on fire. I told her that in the ad it said "don't try this at home," but then she reminded me that she is old enough to read. I think we have come to an agreement that she can only get the ones that glow in the dark. Anyone who knows Becca knows that Poi Balls and fire does not sound like a good idea.

Good for Becca! It sounds like your school system really helps the kids get into the field they want while they are still in school. They should all do that and also include some apprenticeships for kids who are not going to go on to college. Maybe more kids would stay in school.
Yikes; perhaps Becca could stop having birthdays. It makes all the rest of us feel too old. -- Mary

Sorry I could not celebrate your birthday with you this year Becca. Fond memories of last year that will last a life time. Hope your doing well and you and Cole are well. Miss you and love you dearly!!
