Severe Weather Alert


I just wanted all you Michigan people to see what a Virginia SEVERE WEATHER ALERT looks like. Yesterday there was a chance for 1 to 2 inches of snow. On the way home about every 5 miles you would see salt trucks lined up. Here is a picture of our severe weather and the 5 trucks loaded with salt and ready to go. We received a light dusting and that was all. This morning the roads were white but it was from all the salt not snow.

Boy, they'd think it was the end of the world if they got one of our snow storms. I guess it is all in what you are used to.
Glad you did not get a lot of snow. We will take it all up here.

That is so wierd. Our school does not cancel school unless the snow is up to my knees! It did happen once!

That sure did make me giggle! Here we have had 2 blizzards this winter and it only caused the school to close 1 day. What a difference!
