2008 Alaska Fishing Trip
A Ketchikan welcome. You can just feel the stress of DC going away.
Our hotel for the first night. Kinda reminds you of a Stephen King's story with the clouds coming in.
Water Street shopping.
First one of the day and more to come.

A BEAUTIFUL sight. Keep them coming

Well this was our first day out and we cought our limit. What makes this so great is that when we went to breakfast before going out, we were talking to this guy and he asked if it was just the 3 of us girls alone (meaning without a man) and we replied yes. Well when we talked to him at dinner he asked how we did and we told him we cought out limit. We asked how he did and he cought only 4. We were the talk of the resort. I was just hoping that we could do the same the next day and show them all again.

We limited out again and it was only 11:01 am. When we docked the boat and said we were done for the day the dockhand asked if we cought a fish. It just put a smile on our faces when we said "why yes we cought 21 (our max) and are done for the day".

Nice looking fish! Dad and I would like to go sometime. It looks just beautiful there. Glad you are home safe. It is not the same without everyone up here.
